Viewing A Government Office - Overview Tab

When viewing a specific government office, the Overview Page provides a complete snapshot of your activity, deadlines, and important data for that office. Here's what you’ll find:


Timeline View


At the top of the page, you’ll see a timeline that outlines the key phases in the tax cycle. This helps you understand:

  • What phase the tax office is currently in
  • When the next phase begins
  • Key milestones, including:
    • When tax data became available (e.g., from mortgage registrations)
    • When the payment collection period begins and ends
    • The Economic Loss Date, which is the last date to pay before penalties and interest apply


This visual helps you stay ahead of deadlines and manage your schedule more effectively.


Alerts Section

Just below the timeline, the Alerts section will notify you of any issues needing your attention.
 Examples include:

  • Expired subscriptions that require renewal
  • Invalid items to resolve

Tasks Section

If there are any open tasks related to this tax office, they will appear in the Tasks section. This makes it easy to stay on top of next steps or actions you need to complete.



Government Office Contact Information

To the right of the tasks, you'll find the contact details for the government office. You can:

  • Message the office directly
  • Visit their website via the provided link

Acceptable Payment Methods

Next to the contact section, you’ll see a summary of accepted payment methods for that government office.
Clicking “View” will display:

  • Any relevant details or instructions for submitting payments

Tax Data Summary

The tax data section shows:

  • The last date the data was updated
  • The number of tax items included
  • The percentage of bill-dated items currently payable
