When you sign in to your EscrowCloud account, you’ll be brought directly to the Mortgage Registrations / Escrow Payments tab. All Escrow Payment files are housed here for your office’s reference.
Viewing and Filtering Files
By default, this section displays a historical view of all files ever received. If you’d like to view only your current tax season, you can use the Filter Results tool located on the right-hand side of the screen and select the tax season you wish to view under Select a Tax Season.
You can also filter by other items; such as, Type of Submission, Payer, Payment Status, and Download Status.
At the top of your page, you’ll see a snapshot panel displaying several helpful details:
- Latest Tax Season: Displays the most recent tax season in your account.
- Billing Data: Shows the last date your billing data file was received from us.
- Banking Preferences: Lists the payment methods your escrow payers are required to use.
Note: All monetary transactions are handled outside of Autoagent. EscrowCloud simply displays the payment method details to your escrow payers.

If you haven’t enabled it yet, click Get Started to generate a code for your IT or webmaster to embed on your website. This tool allows taxpayers to enter their parcel number to see if their taxes have been or will be paid by an escrow payer.Proven to help prevent duplicate payments and reducing phone calls to your office.
Escrow Payment File Details
Below the snapshot panel, you’ll find all of your Escrow Payment files.
Each file entry includes:
- Date and Time Received
- A badge indicating whether the file is an Escrow Payment file or Mortgage Registration file (depends on what season you are in)
- The Escrow Payer Name (if you need to contact a payer, hover over the name to display their contact details and send a message)
- The Number of Items Submitted within the file
- The Total Amount which will be zero during a Mortgage Registration season.
- If the Escrow Payer added any notes with their submission, you will see a blue Notes button. Click to view their notes.
- Funding Date which indicates the date the escrow payer is projecting their payment to be funded.
Downloading an Escrow Payment File
Locate the file you want to download. Click the blue “Options” button to the right of the file. Select Download Escrow Payment File from the dropdown list.
The file will begin processing, and you’ll see a progress notification appear at the top of your screen.
Once the file is ready, a blue “Click to Download” button will appear.
Click the button to start the download. The downloaded file will appear dependent on the type of browser you are using. For example: Chrome users, it will appear under the arrow in the recent download history.
Once downloaded, you can:
- Save the file to your desktop, shared drive, or a specific folder, and then Upload the file into your tax software for processing.
Once the file has successfully downloaded, the text under the file will turn green and indicate the user who downloaded the file and the date it was downloaded.
Once the payment (monetary portion) is received via ACH, Wire, or Check (whichever is applicable), check the box next to their escrow payment file.
Once you mark the payment received, the text under the file will turn green and indicate the payment received and the date it was received.
